How to Read Your Meter
Reading your meter is as simple as reading the odometer of your car. There are typically five or six numbers on a meter dial with the last two numbers on the meter dial in reverse color. The last two numbers are rounded at 50.
This is an example of a common meter dial.

Example: A meter with a reading of 11.89 would round to a meter reading of 12. Similarly, a meter with a reading of 11.42 would round to a meter reading of 11.
The blue star and red needle are flow indicators and rotate when water is moving through the meter.
